MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
I approach therapy from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens.
Our minds and bodies are intricately connected. Experiences of stress or trauma can shape the way our nervous systems respond long after the moment has passed. Drawing from trauma-informed care and Interpersonal Neurobiology, we'll learn to understand these responses with compassion, helping your brain and body experience greater safety, healing, and resilience.
The ways we think, feel, and understand ourselves are shaped by our experiences. Throughout life, we develop beliefs and protective patterns that often begin as ways of coping. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed parts work, we'll explore these patterns with curiosity, fostering greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting growth.
We are wired for connection, and our relationships profoundly shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Drawing from Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) , we'll work toward cultivating deeper connection, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of belonging.
Beyond our thoughts and emotions, we all wrestle with questions of meaning, purpose, and identity. Whether faith is central to your life, something you're questioning, or not part of your story, therapy can be safe space to thoughtfully explore deeper questions with openness, curiosity, and respect for your unique journey.
